Whatsapp introduces i chat filtersa tool that had already been tested in the past and is considered extremely useful as it allows users to find individual and group messages more easily and quickly than in the past.
There are three filters available, positioned at the top of the screen:
- All: by default it is the one activated
- Not read: filters only chats that have not yet been opened and read
- Groups: all group chats converge within this filter, so that they can be viewed separately from the others if the user wishes. The community subgroups are also present here
We believe filters will make it easier to stay organized and find the most important conversations, helping people manage messages more efficiently.
WhatsApp announces that the rollout has just started, the new functionality will therefore be available to all users over the course of next weeks.
Not only are chat filters among the latest innovations introduced on the platform: between beta and stable there are in fact several changes underway, including the implementation of a new sidebar on the web version and an editor for creating stickers.
