Stellar Blade: a video compares the three graphics modes of the demo
Descriptive text here

Waiting for the demo to be released Stellar Bladeset at 3pm Italian time today, ElAnalistaDeBits has created a video comparison of the various ones graphics modes present in this trial version and which we will most likely also find at the launch of the full version.

In total we find three presets: the classic Performance and Resolution, with Balanced representing a middle ground.

The Performance mode offers a resolution anchored on average at 1440p and a rock-solid 60 fps. With that Resolution, the native resolution rises to 2160p, while the framerate is locked to 30 fps, maintaining this target without the occurrence of hiccups. Finally, the balanced mode offers a 1440p resolution with 4K output via TAAU and aims for 60 fps, generally stable, but there is no shortage of drops in fluidity absent with the other two settings.

Apart from resolution and framerate, the three modes do not present significant differences in graphic terms, except for the anisotropic filter and the level of detail of some textures in the distance. As a result, elements such as shadow resolution, draw distance, ambient occlusion and post-processing effects are perfectly identical.

Which mode will you use?

In general, ElAnalistaDeBits recommends Performance or Balanced modes considering the frenetic gameplay of Stellar Blade and hopes to find an option at launch to deactivate chromatic aberration, which in his opinion is too strong in this particular game. And you? Let us know in the comments which of the three available presets you will try.

We remind you that Stellar Blade will be available from April 26 exclusively for PS5. We have already tried the demo, here are our impressions.
