“I feel good! I feel better! I’m here at Palas to work and get back in shape. Even though I was happy for the team and my teammates after the 5th Place Play Off victory, for me the SuperLega tournament ended with a very bitter taste in my mouth, with back pain and without being able to take the field. Not having the chance to help your Club is the worst thing that could be, but now I want to get back to the top and redeem myself next year. It all depends on how I feel day after day, but the forecast is rosy because I have a good chance of starting my preparation with the team at the same pace as my teammates. These days I follow the matches of my brother Simeon, a very young setter for the Bulgarian national team, coached by our former coach Chicco Blengini. A sextet with two Nikolovs in VNL would have been very nice, my country’s selection is working hard. I see my little brother improving with every game, I can’t wait to be able to play with him. Also excited to start the season with Lube. I have already met our new head coach Giampaolo Medei twice to get to know him first. We have many matches ahead of us together.”
