New news arrives on the conditions of Mia Rusthenthe 22 year old Norwegian driver admitted to the Maurizio Bufalini Hospital in Cesena following the accident she was the victim of on Saturday in Misano, in the inaugural race of the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championshipthe newborn Women’s Motorcycling World Championship.
It was the Rusthen family who updated on the condition of the young motorcyclist, who was found to have one head injury and concussionthrough a short note released yesterday evening on the team’s Facebook page.
“Mia is currently in an induced coma. She underwent surgery to reduce intracranial pressure and remove a hemorrhage- the update reads – The doctor is very positive and satisfied with the result. Intracranial pressure has stabilized and vital parameters are stable. We appreciate all the thoughts and love that have already been given to Mia. This means everything, even though she is already the strongest woman in the world!”
Words that give rise to hope, while the dynamics of the fall suffered by the 22-year-old at the Misano 2 curve on the fifth lap of Race 1 still remain unclear.
