A great joy for Juan Jesus, Napoli’s Brazilian defender: the former Roma and Inter player revealed the incident on his social channels.

Juan Jesus albeit as a supporting player, he was one of the men who contributed to Italy’s third scudetto on the pitch and in the locker rooms, earning the sympathy of the Neapolitan supporters. This season, due to poor management which led him to become the replacement for the departing Kim, the former Inter and Roma player was among the central defenders most in difficulty and at the center of criticism.

Despite everything, today some wonderful news arrived for him, which the green and gold defender wanted to make known on his social channels.

Juan Jesus, the Brazilian defender’s message on social media is chilling

Juan Jesus has indeed officially become Italian citizen. An objective achieved following his long militancy in Serie A and the associated life in the beautiful country. A journey that took him first to Milan on the Inter side, and then to the centre, to the capital wearing the Roma shirt, and finally to Napoli, in the very south.

“Batjuan”, nicknamed so affectionately by his fans, released this message on his social channels to celebrate the event:

“Today is an important day for me.

In 12 years Italy has given me everything: work, love, friends and family. Here I found my life, my destiny and my future.

I saw and admired the Alps and the islands, the cities, the art and the beauty.

I lived in Milan, in Rome where my son was born, and now I wake up looking at the wonder of Naples.

With this shirt I won a championship and realized a dream that will remain in my heart forever.

I am grateful for what I have experienced, I am eager to experience these emotions again and tremendously proud to announce that from today your country is also a little bit mine. After many years I obtained Italian citizenship.

I promise to continue to love and respect your Constitution and your history as I have always done in my Brazil which remains my land.

I was born and raised there, here I became a man.
