The under 10s are never tamed: another great feat at the ‘Città di Formigine’ tournament, which ended in first place (with only victories)

Unicusano Livorno Rugby under 10 super also on the outskirts of Modena. The green and white teamconfirming the very high levels of gameplay expressed in previous releases, obtained first place (also) at the ‘Città di Formigine’, the event organized by the local yellow-blue Emilian Highlanders club. The tournament, which took place on this Sunday at the beginning of June, involved seven teams in the category. Initially the starting teams created a round-robin group. Then the best two played in the final, while the teams placed in third and fourth place played in the final for bronze. PFor the wild Labronians, only successes were in the first part – ranking of the round-robin group closed with full points; each victory rewarded with three points -,both in the final. In particular, Unicusano Livorno Rugby under 10 beat, in the initial group, 7-1 (each goal one point; in the category no foot points are foreseen), Fortitudo, 2-0 the Formigine Highlanders, 4-0 the Leprotti, 8-0 against Carpi, 5-1 against Bologna and 2-0 against Cecina. Group standings: Unicusano Livorno 18, Highlanders 13, Cecina 12, Bologna 10, Fortitudo 4, Carpi 3, Leprotti 1. In the final, with the Highlanders, a clear and unequivocal victory, 3-0. It was the last competitive commitment of a year truly full of laurels and excellent results. A team, the one from Livorno – made up of elements born in 2014 and 2015 – which has been growing. The coaches-educators Federica Muzi, Federico Guidi, Rocco Montanaro and Daniele Aspromonti do not hide their satisfaction with the responses received also during the tournament played in Formigine. The green and white Giulio Cesare Campora was named best player of the tournament.
