MARCHE TROPHY. Academy Civitanovese dominates in the 27th edition

It ended yesterday evening, Sunday 30 June and in the presence of a very large audience who came to the “Tonino Seri” in Macerata, the 27th edition of the Marche Trophy. Second consecutive success and almost announced that ofAcademy Civitanovese by Mister Gaetano Calvaresi, a very strong team, which proved to be of an absolutely superior level to the others who, in a final discussed only in the opening minutes, beat for 7-1 l’OsimoConero Station Dribblingthe only team capable of piercing the inactive Civitanova goalkeeper in the final stages. Mister Benedettelli’s boys in fact took the lead in the 1st minute of play but after just 9 minutes the result was already overturned.

13-0 against Archetti in the round of 16, 6-0 against AFC Fermo in the quarter-finals, 6-0 against Atletico Ascoli in the semi-finals after topping their group as first with full points, are the results of the triumphal ride of Civitanova until yesterday’s final. A round of applause to the defeated Ancona green and whites, because finishing second out of 36 teams is a great result.
An extraordinary success this 2024 edition of the Marche Trophy, 36 teams and an enthusiasm that has been felt since April 29th, the day of the group draw. The final epilogue of the awards ceremony was beautiful and exciting as always, this year finally spared from the rain for a ceremony which, given the guests who arrived and the importance of some prizes, put the icing on the cake to an edition worthy of one of the major regional youth football tournaments.
