GENOA – Four Sampdorian fans entered a bar and attacked two Genoa fans: the incident occurred in Nervi, in via Oberdan.

The dynamics are not yet clear. From an initial reconstruction it would appear that a man, aged around 40, was hit in the head and in the arm from a shard of bottle after being beaten by rival fans. During the scuffles the rioters devastated the bar. The victim is said to be a Genoa ultra who would have received a Daspo in the past: the man was not in serious condition and was discharged shortly after hospitalization following the application of some stitches. A second fan, who complained of abdominal pain, was also taken to hospital.

The police were on site and started investigations. The police identified the four alleged perpetrators, well-known Sampdoria ultras, and took them to the police station. At the time of the attack, eight people were having lunch in the restaurant, none of them were injured.
