On the San Michele di Feletto circuit (Treviso), the race was controlled from the start by the Borgo Molino Vigna Fiorita jerseys with Tommaso Marchi breaking away in the initial stages and then by the entire team working in unison. On the Ca’ del Poggio pass, 11 people remained with three bearers of Borgo Molino Vigna Fiorita: Filippo Cettolin, Andrea Montagner and Luca Vaccher. Immediately after the last km Luca Vaccher took off and surprised everyone and reached the finish line solo, third place for Andrea Montagner.
