TEPIC (Mexico) – The second one will officially start today in Tepic in Mexico Elite16 of the Beach Pro Tour 2024. As is known, this Mexican event will offer fundamental points in view of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Three Italian pairs will be at the starting line, one in the women’s draw and two in the men’s draw. All three blue teams will start directly from the main draw.
In the women’s tournament Marta Menegatti And Valentina Gottardi have been included in Pool B: the Italians will make their debut tomorrow at 9.10 pm against the Americans Hughes/Cheng, and then close the group stage on Friday 19 April at 4 am against a team that will pass the qualifying round and at 7 pm against the Chinese Xue/XY Xia.
In the men’s draw Paolo Nicolai And Samuele Cottafava have been included in Pool C and will make their debut in Tepic tomorrow at 10pm against a team from the preliminaries: the matches will then follow on Thursday 19th at 7am against the Dutch Boermans/De Groot and on the night between 19 and 20 April (1am :00) against the Americans Crabb Tr./Brunner.
Alex Ranghieri And Adrian Carambula, however, will make their debut in Pool B tomorrow evening at 7.30 pm against the world champions, the Czechs Perusic/Schweiner. The blue pair will then take to the sand tomorrow night at 3pm (opponent to be defined), and then close the group on Friday 19th at 9pm against the Polish Bryl/Łosiak.
