“Domenica in Cici” is back, the initiative of the Metropolitan City dedicated to two-wheel lovers – BitontoLive.it

Everything is ready for the second edition of “Sunday by bike” the initiative, promoted by Metropolitan City of Bari with the School Network Planning, Promotion and Coordination of Youth Policies Service, aimed at enhancing cycle tourism routes, scenic and historical cultural beauties and the food and wine riches of the area.

“Sunday by bike”, organized in collaboration with CONI Puglia and Sport and Health Puglia, will take the leaving today from Acquaviva delle Fonti to conclude in October.

To Acquaviva delle Fonti meeting at 9.30 in Piazza Garibaldito continue on a route of approximately 8 km, in collaboration with ASD Fausto Coppi.

In the last edition, the initiative achieved great success with the participation of two-wheel lovers and the involvement of numerous metropolitan municipalities.

Cycling days will allow you to discover the treasures of the area: from the landscapes of the Itria Valley and the hinterland with the picturesque villages, to the most characteristic stretches of the coast. The event, which will take place in the metropolitan area, currently involves eleven Municipalities: Acquaviva delle Fonti, Bitonto, Casamassima, Cellamare, Corato, Gravina in Puglia, Molfetta, Modugno, Noci, Rutigliano and Ruvo di Puglia.

The initiative includes a cycle ride with groups of cyclists who will meet at the meeting points identified by the individual Municipalities and which can be viewed on the website www.domenicainbici.it.

“Domenica in Bici” confirms its vocation to promote and enhance the territory and sport understood as an opportunity for social inclusion, belonging to the territory and activities that generate health benefits.
