One of Mayor Ernesto Tedesco’s latest ordinances, expiring in June with the end of his mandate one step away. Let’s talk about the indications on bathing areas and those prohibited for summer 2024. They were published on the municipality’s website last April 26, for “the identification and classification of water intended for bathing and monitoring points”.
Among the bathing beaches, worth mentioning is the area that goes from the Tower of Sant’Agostino to that of La Frasca, the “Pirgo bathing establishments”, on the seafront, the “Fosso ex Infernaccio”, “Fosso di Scarpatosta” and “Fosso del Malpasso”, and finally the area called “Spiaggetta del Marangone”.
Within the ordinance there is also the “list of waters not used for bathing”, such as the 1400 meter one that goes from Torre Valdaliga to the port of Civitavecchia, the “Foci Fossi Infernaccio and Scarpatosta” and the port of Traiano.
