Another excellent performance by President Renis’s Power athletes, who however fail to go 2-0 but maintain the difference in goals against Orlandina who wins 83-79 in a point-to-point match. The start of the match at the Infodrive Arena was a real swing of emotions, Power was unable to get into gear and get into a rhythm with the starting five deployed by coach Farabello, they went 10 points down after 6 minutes with just one basket from the field.
The Salerno players change their momentum with the entry onto the pitch of Duranti and Mei who with two consecutive triples put the Sicilians at 0-6, then bringing Power to just 1 point behind the home team (16-15). Chief controls the rebounds and it’s cold from the line. The match ends at 83-79.
