This year too European cricket series (Ecs) lands in Italy. From Monday 29 April to Friday 10 May, the important international tournament, organized by the Italian Cricket Federation in partnership with the European Cricket Network, will stop in Brescia.
On the oval of via Gatti del Jinnah cricket club fifteen Italian teams divided into two groups will compete on the T10 format (60 throws per team) to win the prestigious trophy. In group A: Albano, Bergamo CC, Brescia CC, Cividate, Cricket Stars, Fornaci, Fresh Tropical and Markhor Milano; in group B: Friends XI, Janjua Brescia, Jinnah Brescia, Milan United, Panjab, Trentino Aquila and Vicenza.
At the end of the first phase, the best four from each group will advance to the direct elimination phase, with quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. It will take 56 matches in 12 days to decide the two teams that will play the final on Friday 10 May at 4.30pm.
For the first time the Ecs Tournament of Brescia 2024 will have the patronage of the Lombardy Regional Council.
