The body of the 66-year-old pensioner from Cantù (Como) who has been missing since yesterday afternoon, when he fell into the waters of the Serenza stream in flood, was identified this morning by firefighters. The discovery occurred about three kilometers downstream from the point where he had fallen into the water. The firefighters with the diving department are working for the recovery. The man – a volunteer for one of the groups that build the Cantù Carnival floats – was out yesterday afternoon with two friends and was on a small bridge which collapsed, dragging him into the water.
