An eighty-five year old woman who has become the “terror” of her neighbors ends up under house arrest. Precisely because of her “intemperance” with her neighbors, who had reported her, the old woman had remedied the ban on staying in Terni, now violated, with the judge issuing the measure of house arrest. The police stopped her, carrying out the order of the judge of preliminary investigations, after the elderly woman had returned to her home in Terni and had started annoying the owners again. At the age of 85, the woman was in fact subjected to a residence ban in Terni due to persecutory acts against some of her condominium owners but, according to what the Carabinieri ascertained, she violated the provision several times, returning to her home in Terni and continuing to bothering the neighbors who had reported her and who reported her presence to the police. The investigating judge therefore placed the elderly woman under house arrest in her daughter’s home in Emilia Romagna. Measure carried out by the Carabinieri. According to the investigators’ reconstruction, in recent months the woman had been responsible for “serious” behavior to the detriment of some condominium owners who, exasperated, had turned to the force.
The investigations had therefore made it possible to acquire a circumstantial framework considered serious and detailed on the basis of which the investigating judge of Terni had issued the precautionary measure of the ban on residence in the city. Measure violated and now aggravated by the judge who transformed it into house arrest.
