Model. This specimen, painted in metallic platinumis the one that struck me the most, among the various ones available: a different tone from most of the models in circulation.
Working suspension. Reproduction of this first turbo series from 1984 it appears balanced, solid, just like the real car was. Rotating it, you immediately notice the large front and rear light clusters, dimensions which on today’s cars have been significantly reduced for reasons of style and technology (LED lights). Same thing for the fog lights, which completed the front on the Thema. Also in the right place were the abundant moldings and plastic bands, which ran along the entire perimeter. The alloy wheels are well made. Excellent tread sculpting work, with steering wheels and “working” suspensions.
Inside of. The huge dashboard is clearly visible and on the real car it was well inserted into a large living room well underlined, even in scale, by the generosity and comfort of the front seats: in second row instead you were greeted by the sofa.
Price ok. The reproduction of the Thema ie Turbo is sold by the manufacturing company to less than 90 euros, a “fair” price for a model like this. On the manufacturer’s website carmodel.com you can also see the other colours, available immediately.
