Starting from today, June 14, 2024, TIM has updated the portfolio of mobile offers of xTE TIM Cross rangeproposals to some already TIM landline customersin particular by inserting 5G enabling up to 250 Mbps on offers that were previously in 4G, also launching the new xTE TIM Cross White and xTE TIM Cross Goldwhich compared to the previous ones include a bundle of 200 SMS.
These are therefore the offers proposed in mode cross sellingMeaning what to some already customers only TIM landline in this case with the aim of activating a new TIM rechargeable SIM with a simultaneous request for portability of your mobile number (MNP) from another national operator (up to a maximum of 4 for the same landline holder).
So, for them new activations carried out in TIM stores starting from today, June 14, 2024was Enabling the new 5G profile with speeds of up to 250 Mbps has been introducedparticularly for xTE TIM Cross offers that were previously limited to 4G.
In this case, in some cases the names of the offers have also changedmaintaining anyway monthly costs remain unchanged: the offer xTE TIM Cross UP becomes xTE TIM Cross Whitealways a 6.99 euros per monthwhile the previous one xTE TIM Cross L becomes xTE TIM Cross Goldalways a 9.99 euros per month.
In both cases, the new White and Gold versions include a bundle of 200 SMSWhile the previous xTE TIM Cross UP and xTE TIM Cross L, which can no longer be activated, included unlimited SMS.
Therefore, for the new activations carried out from today, the offers xTE TIM Cross Steel, xTE TIM Cross White and xTE TIM Cross Gold they also allow you to navigate 5G with a speed up to 250 Mbps download and 75 Mbps upload.
However, as already told in detail by MondoMobileWebon 5G-enabled mobile offers up to 250 Mbps, the 5G Ultra Promo is automatically activatedthat offers 5G Ultra included free for the first 3 monthsthus allowing you to surf in 5G with speed up to 2 Gbps download and up to 300 Mbps upload.
Once the 3 free months expirethe TIM customer can decide to keep the 5G Ultra profile active to navigate at maximum speed, thanks to the option “5G for YOU” at the additional cost of 1.99 euros per monthactivated answering “YES” to the SMS that the customer will receive at the end of the promo. If instead the customer will choose not to activate the option, navigation will continue with the basic 5G profile, with the limit of 250 Mbps.
Instead, as also happened with other offers from the operator, for TIM’s cross-selling offers that already included 5G, i.e. xTE TIM Famiglia 5G and xTE TIM Cross 5Gnow these include the 5G Ultra profilewith the maximum speed of 5Gequal to 2 Gbps download and 300 Mbps upload. Furthermore, customers who have included 5G Ultra in their offer can benefit from the access priority on the TIM mobile network.
With these news relating to the 5G profile, now, at least for the entire month of June 2024, barring changes, the portfolio of this type of offers is composed by xTE TIM Cross Steel, xTE TIM Cross White, xTE TIM Cross Gold, xTE TIM Family 5G and xTE TIM Cross 5G.
In all cases There are no activation costs and renewals of the chosen offer will take place with a charge on remaining credit.
xTE TIM 5G Family at 9.99 euros per month in 5G Ultra
Therefore, TIM Cross remains available among the offers in the xTE range xTE TIM 5G familycan be activated with portability from any other mobile operator.
In detail, xTE TIM 5G family includes unlimited minutes to all national landlines and mobile numbers, 200 SMS towards everyone and 5 Giga of data traffic (entirely usable also in EU Roaming) usable up to 5G Ultra (up to 2 Gbps and with priority access to the mobile network), all at the cost of 9.99 euros per month on remaining credit.
The xTE TIM Cross range in 5G or 5G Ultra from 5.99 euros per month
As for the other offers from the xTE TIM Cross range dedicated to some existing landline customers, among these is xTE TIM Cross Steelwhich includes unlimited minutes of calls to all national landline and mobile numbers, 200 SMS towards everyone and 100 Giga (1 basic GB with 99 additional GB within 48 hours of activation) usable in 5G up to 250 Mbpsat the cost of 5.99 euros per month.
xTE TIM Cross Steel is aimed at some already TIM landline customersmainly to those customers who only have TIM at home and do not have an already active TIM SIM, who purchase a new TIM mobile rechargeable SIM with a simultaneous request for portability of your mobile number (MNP) with coming from Iliad, Fastweb and some virtual operators.
Then we move on to the new one xTE TIM Cross Whitewhich comprises unlimited minutes of calls to all national landline and mobile numbers, 200 SMS towards everyone and 150 Giga (50 basic GB with 100 additional GB within 48 hours of activation) usable in 5G up to 250 Mbpsat the cost of 6.99 euros per month.
This offer is dedicated to TIM landline customers that require the portability (MNP) from Iliad, Fastweb and virtual operators.
Then there is the new portfolio xTE TIM Cross Goldwhich it predicts unlimited minutes of calls to all national landline and mobile numbers, 200 SMS towards everyone and 100 Giga (50 basic Giga with 50 additional Giga within 48 hours of activation) usable in 5G up to 250 Mbpsat the cost of 9.99 euros per month on remaining credit.
This offer is offered to a selected target of TIM landline customers with the possibility of carrying out the portability from any other mobile operator.
Finally, the offer xTE TIM Cross 5G always includes unlimited minutes of calls to all national landline and mobile numbers, Unlimited SMS towards everyone and 100 Giga of data traffic usable up to 5G Ultra (up to 2 Gbps and with priority access to the mobile network), at the cost of 14.99 euros per month.
This other offer, enabled by default for the 5G Ultra profile among those offered in convergence to some existing TIM fixed network customers, can be activated by requesting the portability from any other mobile operator.
How to have unlimited gigabytes in 5G Ultra with TIM Unica Power
Being about convergent offers for fixed-mobile customersyou can take advantage of TIM Unica Powerthrough which, as happened with the free TIM Unica mechanism, it is possible to obtain Unlimited gigabytesbut in this case can also be used on the 5G network with the 5G Ultra profile up to 2 Gbps (where there is coverage and if the device is compatible), with obligation to charge the cost of the mobile offer on the invoice.
To do this, therefore, the monthly cost of the mobile offers of the Cross range comes charged to your landline bill with the activation of the service Automatic top-up of TIM Unica.
Please note that for offers with “Unlimited gigabytes” the operator considers non-compliant use in good faith to exceed 600 Giga monthly.
Unlike TIM Unica, the TIM Unica Power mechanism provides a cost of 1.90 euros per month on the invoice only for the first SIM (with five other mobile lines at 0 euros).
Howeverfrom 30 July 2023 the promo that allows you to eliminate the monthly cost expected if on the landline at least 3 SIMs will be paired of the operator. This promo is currently available until July 27, 2024subject to changes.
All the offers just mentioned always remain bound to maintenance of the combined fixed network offer.
Otherwise, the subscribed mobile network offer will continue to be usable with the same bundles of minutes, SMS and Giga (but losing the unlimited Giga in 5G Ultra of TIM Unica Power), but in some cases with different standard prices: xTE TIM Cross 5G will be renewed a 19.99 euros per month.
Instead, in the event of termination of the fixed line, xTE TIM Cross Steel, xTE TIM Cross White, xTE TIM Cross Gold And xTE TIM 5G family they will be renewed maintaining the same promotional monthly cost, equal to 5.99 euros per month, 6.99 euros per month and 9.99 euros per month respectively.
Further info on fixed mobile convergent offers
In case of activation of a new SIM, from 30 May 2021 the active tariff profile is TIM Base19, which costs 1.99 euros per month. For new customers the first month is free. The Base19 plan remains free for lines with at least one active recurring charge offer that includes minutes, SMS or Gigabyte.
For offers with Unlimited minutes and SMSTIM presumes use that does not comply with good faith if the limit is exceeded 18000 minutes And 1800 SMS monthly.
Instead, in case of exceeding 200 SMS included in offers xTE TIM Cross Steel, xTE TIM Cross White, xTE TIM Cross Gold and xTE TIM Family 5G, the conditions of the basic tariff plan apply. The default TIM Base19 plan has a cost of 29 euro cents for each SMS sent.
Overcoming Giga included every month, if the customer has no other active data options, in Italy navigation is blocked.
Please note that, following its progressive decommissioning which began on 13 June 2022 and continued until mid-October 2022, TIM’s 3G is now turned off throughout Italy.
On all the convergent offers of the TIM Cross range there are TIM’s LoSai and Call Now services are included and free.
In Roaming in EU countries, all current convergent offers are valid under the same national conditions, but with a limit on monthly data traffic. In detail, throughout 2024 are expected 7 Giga with xTE TIM Cross Steel, 8 Giga with xTE TIM Cross White, 14 Giga with xTE TIM Cross Gold e 16 Giga with xTE TIM Cross 5G.
If this bundle runs out, a cost of 0.184 euro cents for each MB consumed (VAT included), until 31 December 2024, unless changed.
In case of insufficient credit during the renewal of offers, these come suspended up to a maximum of 180 days and the TIM customer will pay according to consumption according to the active basic tariff profile and until the remaining credit is exhausted.
During activation, you can choose whether to activate the service or not TIM Always Connectedthrough which, in case of exhaustion of creditthe customer can continue to make voice, SMS and data traffic in Italy and in European Union countries without limits for up to a maximum of 2 consecutive days, at a cost of 90 euro cents per day.
The aforementioned cost will be charged, upon the first top-up made, for each day of actual use. At the end of the 2 days of possible use of the service, in case of failure to top up, the SIM will remain active only to receive calls or SMS and to make emergency calls.
As always, tariff offers from telephone operators may be subject to unilateral changes over time and, in these cases, TIM notifies the customer one month in advance as required by current legislation.
