Raf in Rieti on 28 June. This was announced by the singer himself, who included Rieti and Piazza Mazzini in the tour to celebrate 40 years since his first success, Self Control. In the wake of the success of “My Home Tour”, which saw him as the protagonist of sold-out live shows, Raf returns live: he leaves in May on Self Control 40thproduced by Friends & Partners, a rich season of concerts throughout Italy to celebrate the 40th anniversary of one of the most famous hits of all time, which marks the debut of an extraordinary career and the history of disco and pop music. The Rieti event is free.
“Self Control 40th is a much broader and more complex project, which will be announced in detail in the coming weeks: to celebrate 40 years of the evergreen success SELF CONTROL, Raf is working on big surprises, on important innovations that will pay homage to the affection of public and to the magnificent years which had as their soundtrack not only a song loved by millions of people all over the world, but a real phenomenon, a hymn to lightness and a sense of freedom” we read in the singer’s press release and on Friends & Partners website, one of the largest producers of live events in Italy.
Among the first dates announced is June 28th in Rieti: it is in fact part of the Antonian June celebrations. Among those announced, here are the other dates: May 4th in Poschiavo, Switzerland, for Concerti in Piazza; on May 11th at the Fausto Noce Park in Olbia; on May 12th in Piazza Aldo Moro in Viddalba (SS); on May 25th in Piazza Plebiscito in Gioia del Colle (BA); on June 28th in Piazza Mazzini in Rieti; on July 23rd in Piazza Mercato in Sperone (AV); on the 25th in Mirano (VE), for the Mirano Summer Festival; on 3 August at the Molo Arena in Mondolfo (PU) for the Marotta Festival; on 8 September in Piazza Garibaldi in Bondeno (FE) for Scorre, the Festival.
