There is a form of symbiosis between Sardinia and Anna, the protagonist who also gives the title to the new film by Palermo director Marco Amenta, in theaters on the island since the 6th and throughout Italy from Thursday with Fandango, after having passed out competition at the Authors’ Days of the 2023 Venice Film Festival and awarded at numerous festivals. The film, shot entirely on the island with an almost entirely Sardinian cast, focuses on the life and story of Anna, played by Rose Aste, a young woman ready to fight for herself and her land.
