El Arbi and Fallah break the silence on the rumors and joke about Vulture

The directors of Ms Marvel and Bad Boys 4 Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah they seem to be getting closer and closer to directing Spider-Man 4, and in a recent promotional interview they couldn’t avoid questions directed at the highly anticipated next Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures film starring Tom Holland.

Speaking with ComicBook for the release of their next film Bad Boys: Ride or Die, produced coincidentally by Sony, El Arbi and Fallah addressed the rumors that they are currently in pole position in the list of possible directors of Spider-Man 4: obviously they played their cards close to their chest, but at the same time they neither denied nor avoided the question as they had done in recent days, when they declared they would ‘not being able to talk about Spider-Man’.

In the new interview they said: “It came out of nowhere, because during the making of Bad Boys 4 we were under the command of the heads of Sony and they, who own the rights to Spider-Man and who are making the new movie, didn’t tell us anything! We’re obviously Spider-Man superfansso you can imagine that as we read these rumors we just thought, ‘Whoa, that would be awesome.‘” Curiously, the duo worked with Spider-Man: Homecoming star Michael Keaton on Batgirl, the famous DC film canceled by Warner Bros, an actor who plays the villain Vulture in the MCU. When teased about the possibility of working with the star again, the two directors joked: “From now on we will have Michael Keaton in all our films!“.

We are waiting for the next updates: according to the sources Spider-Man 4 is expected to begin filming after the summerwith the film which however does not yet have a release date.
