STRONCONE (Terni) – With the first municipal council of Stroncone, the new administration led by Malvetani, already mayor of the “most beautiful village in Italy”, has been effectively installed.
«As mayor in my second term I should be less excited than the first time – the words of Giuseppe Malvenati – but in some ways I am more excited. In fact, never in Stroncone’s long history had a list obtained 70% of the vote and won with a margin of almost 1000 votes. I therefore want to extend my biggest thanks, together with the whole team, to our fellow citizens.” «The extent of the victory was such as to burden me, the new council and all the administrators with an even greater responsibility. Well, we will do everything we can to repay this trust by continuing to make our territory grow for us and for our children, so that they can choose to stay and live here, in a more modern and attractive municipality.” The new council made up of Alessandro Liorni, Melania Quintili, Marco Bruni and Annalisa Spezzi. Below are all the councilor delegations. Alessandro Liorni, deputy mayor, maintains the budget and economic development department; Melania Quintili, the most voted (245 preferences), for social policies, services, digitalisation, local police and personnel; Marco Bruni to urban planning, sport and the environment; Annalisa Spezzi on tourism, culture and school policies.
Malvetani delivers other delegations to the majority councillors. He entrusts Fabiana Mansueti with relations with the convent, with the parishes in the area and with the diocese, the events and religious journeys; to Chiara Angelini the awareness raising activities for social initiatives; relations with musical bands to Alessandro Ubaldi. Finally Marco Serafini becomes president of the city council.
