The technician of Lumezzane Arnold Franzini released some statements via the official channels of the Brescia club, after learning that they were part of Group A for the 2024/25 season. This is his comment: “There were no surprises compared to expectations, we knew that broadly speaking the group would be this one with the exception of Atalanta as we thought Milan would be there given what we had been told.”
Franzini he then goes on to make an analysis of the teams that will start in the front row next year, despite being aware that the market could upset the predictions: “Making a starting grid today with the transfer market still closed is premature, but certainly the two relegated Lecco and Feralpisalò should be included in the list of favorites together with Vicenza, which will probably be ‘the’ favourite, Padua and Triestina”.
And behind? The fight will be quite tough according to the coach: “These are clubs that have economic potential and a history that makes them a step above the others. Atalanta Under 23 will certainly be the loose cannon as it was last year, while the surprise could be Alcione. There will certainly be a tough fight behind the five teams to access the playoffs with a championship that I expect to be very balanced like last season. Having continuity will be fundamental”.
