Terrible accident along the Sp9, a road that runs along the Valvestino lake, in the province of Brescia. Unfortunately, a 28-year-old motorcyclist lost his life after ending up in a cliff following a crash. Authorities are working to reconstruct the dynamics of what happened.
The tragedy
According to what has been reported so far, the episode occurred late in the morning today, Sunday 30 June. Two brothers originally from Como were proceeding along the Sp9, in the locality of Gargnano (Brescia), when the tragedy occurred. The motorbike on which the 28-year-old was traveling crashed into his brother’s, and the violent impact threw him, causing him to fall into a cliff. It was a flight of about ten meters that left the young man no escape.
The two blood relatives were headed to Gargnano. Unfortunately, crash It was terrible. The alarm was raised immediately, around 1:00 p.m., and health workers rushed to the scene. It was not easy to reach the 28-year-old. The rescuers, aided by local police officers, as well as firefighters and Gargnano officers, did everything they could to save the young man, but by then it was too late. They could only confirm his death. To allow for the recovery operations, the road was closed. The police officers then carried out the necessary surveys.
Now the following remains to be reconstructed: dynamics that led to the terrible event. Apparently the 28-year-old lost control of his motorcycle near a curve and ended up against his brother’s motorcycle, before being thrown against a guardrail. The motorcycle remained on the road, but the victim ended up in the ravine.

During the night, again in the Gavardo area, a 27-year-old girl, Marica Avanzi, lost her life after her car crashed into a guardrail. There was nothing that could be done for her either. The young woman, who was traveling alone, would have died instantly.
