Not just simple details, but a question of strategy. There Lazio, a few days ago, reached an agreement with Verona for Tijjani NoslinDutch striker with whom the coach Marco Baroni he has found himself particularly well in the last 6 months (the 1999-born player was purchased by the yellow and blues in January). The pact with the Veronese president Maurizio Setti was to close the deal within this month for budgetary reasons. And so far there have been no major problems. Now, however, the two companies are considering the opportunity to include in the operation Juan David Cabal: it would be a bargain for about 20 million total (plus a percentage on any future resale of both players).
The deal still in doubt
A decision will be made today whether to include both deals in the balance sheet that ends on June 30 or whether to move Cabal to the following one. But be careful: although the agreement for Noslin is total, if the two companies were to remain firm on their position, it would put the whole thing is in doubt, which however would be counterproductive for both clubs. Lazio, on the other hand, promised Baroni that by the start of the training camp (departure for Auronzo di Cadore will take place on 11 July) 3 players added to the squad (including Loum Tchaouna, taken from Salernitana: in Formello they are waiting for July to deposit the contract). Not a player with characteristics that overlap with those of Noslin (the Dutchman is more mobile, so much so that he can also act as a winger in a 4-2-3-1, while the Senegalese is a true first striker and would compete exclusively with Immobile and Castellanos). However, Lotito is determined to please his coach who, when it came to the transfer market, has always expressly asked for the arrival of Noslin. In short, the coach has put his face on the line and takes responsibility for the performance of the Dutch player. It is up to Lotito and Fabiani to close the deal and hand over his protégé to Baroni.
