Sunday 30th June the sporting event at the “Sotto le stelle” bathing establishment in Via del Faro
Today, Sunday 30 June, theASD Team Rocchi Muay Thaiin collaboration with the Spring Combatorganized the sporting event “Top Level Fighters – The Lighthouse Guardians” which will be held at the “Sotto le stelle” beach resort in Via del Faro, starting at 6.00 pm.
During the evening you will have the opportunity to witness the performances of some of the best athletes on the national and international combat sports scene. The sporting event includes “International Prestige Fights” and women’s matches between some of the most successful champions in the Italian and foreign Muay Thai and Kickboxing scene.
During the sporting event, professional athletes from all over Europe will compete between the sixteen ropes and there will also be several matches between athletes from the Fiumicino area, including the former European Muay Thai WMC Champion and Italian Kickboxing Wako Pro Champion Alessio Ancinelli, who will fight with the Spaniard Arkaitz Santos Vicente.
While other established athletes from the area will face a selection of French and Portuguese fighters.
In the afternoon, starting from 6.00 pm with the precards, matches of athletes from the amateur and non-amateur scene will take placecoming from all over the Lazio Region and the Municipality of Fiumicino, many of whom are trained by maestro Enrico Rocchi. The maincards will follow from 8:00 pm.
The entire event, sponsored by the Lazio Regional Council and the Municipal Administration of Fiumicino, will take place in collaboration with Federkombat – Italian Federation of Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Savate, Shoot boxe and Sambo, National Sports Federation of CONI and is supported by Sky Fco.
The international titles and matches will be organized under the supervision of the National Federations WAKO for Kickboxing and IFMA for Muay Thai. Muay Thai is a martial art that has its roots in Thai history and attracts more and more enthusiasts in Italy too. In fact, with over 30 thousand practitioners throughout the peninsula, this discipline has recorded a growth of 10% in the last three years and a consequent increase in the number of structures that offer their members courses dedicated to the sporting discipline, also in the territory of the Municipality of Fiumicino.
The ASD Team Rocchi Mauy Thai was born from the passion of the master Enrico Rocchi who introduced and spread in the Fiumicino area the dedication and respect for this noble and ancient sport, which in recent times has become an Olympic sport.
