In Albenga yesterday an evening with Alberto Sgarlato

Of Claudio Almanzi. Albenga. The journalist from Albenga Alberto Sgarlato was a guest last night in Albenga of the Unitre Comprensoriale Ingauna. In one of the most interesting evenings of “Unitre’s cultural Mondays”, presented by the Artistic Director Alfredo Sgarlato, the well-known communication expert explained in Piazza Trincheri, in front of an attentive audience, the risks that are run in the incorrect use of social media. These events, organized for over twenty years by the university association, always obtain a notable success: “After the excellent start with “Tracce, Parole di Alessia Chizzoniti ed Emilio Grollero” – the vice president Giuseppina De Andreis explained to us – in the second appointment the important work carried out by a close-knit team of researchers and scholars was highlighted, which led to the paper publication of a fundamental work for the history of our Diocese. I am referring to the evening dedicated to “Il Giardinello: stories of community and charity”con Alma Oleari, Giorgio Fedozzi, Gianluca Robbione and the readings of Paul Zanelli”. Yesterday evening for the third meeting we had as our guest the well-known journalist Alberto Sgarlato who he presented us with an interesting intervention on the topic: Information; how to make a conscious reading”. A great expert in communication, Sgarlato tried to emphasize and make the spectators reflect on how, in the sea magnum of communication, today there is the risk of falling into the subtle traps of fake news. Sgarlato is not only a good journalist, but also has experience as an editorial coordinator, editor-in-chief, proofreader, text layout artist and considerable knowledge in the field of publishing and graphics. A radio speaker and teacher in professional courses, he is a committed and passionate promoter and organizer of artistic and cultural events. Closing the appointments with Monday, on July 8, there will be the famous art critic Claudia Andreotta who will speak on the topic: “Curious artistic excellence in Western Liguria”, again at 9 pm in Piazza Trincheri. “The meetings are free and open to all citizens,” concludes De Andreis. “We look forward to seeing you.”
