The president of the city council will also have to be appointed, who will most likely be assigned to the Italia Viva party, with Giuseppe Sodano in pole position to fill this role. This round of elections leaves behind well-known faces from the past administration, such as Eutilia Viscardi, former council member and then acting mayor, who was not reappointed to the city council. The same fate befell Emilia Esposito, who will not sit on the benches of the council, and Giuseppe Esposito, former president of the city council. It should be added that with the nominations of two already elected representatives of the Democratic Party (Correa and Morosini), Gianpaolo Salvato and Michele Franco will enter the council chamber. Finally, the nomination of Lucio Annunziata as council member, of the Italian Socialist Party, will trigger the entry into the council of Emanuele Esposito. ma.ri.
