LADISPOLI – Citizens exhausted by the wild nightlife and ready to gather to adopt countermeasures. The meeting will be held tomorrow evening in via Anzio together with representatives of Ladispoli Attiva. Those who live near establishments and pubs no longer sleep soundly. «Second homes are no longer there – protests Rita Paone, resident on the central seafront of via Regina Elena – and the Municipality knows this well. From 6:40 in the morning, on average every 10 minutes, trains leave from Ladispoli to Rome: we cannot think of transforming beach establishments and bars into dance halls with live shows every day. This then has consequences that continue well beyond the closing time of the premises. Since last year, the situation on the seafront has been unsustainable. This is why we ask to put an end to this nightmare, just as the municipality of Rome did in Ostia». Ladispoli Attiva has asked to equip the local police with sound level meters for control and to review the municipal ordinance. The resolution of May 2023 amended the previous one, granting two more hours to the premises on the weekend, therefore until 2 and until 3 even outside the city center. As for the phonometers, the municipal police rejected the request. “It is not up to the municipalities – clarifies Sergio Blasi, commander of the municipal police – nor to the local police to be provided with such instruments, in fact Arpa Lazio must think about it. The request can be taken into consideration only in the autonomous regions”.
