The works for the fourth lot of the redevelopment of the Nicolosi district have been assigned. The contract was signed with the company Costruzioni strade e consolidamenti of Rome.

The part of the works assigned, the other lots have already been assigned, concerns the gym, the multipurpose rooms and external interventions for a value of almost one million and 900 thousand euros.

This is part of the largest urban regeneration project which is part of the national innovative program for the quality of living (Pinqua) and which Ater as the implementing body, on behalf of the Municipality of Latina, is making operational in the neighborhood symbol of the city’s identity. The integrated plan envisages a total investment of 12 and a half million euros.

The plan is divided into four interventions, all assigned. It includes the redefinition of the road axis, the market area of ​​the neighborhood, the construction of a library, the creation of green areas and parking areas.

“With this assignment of the works, the preparatory phase is closed, now the project has become a construction site – explains Enrico Dellapietà president of Ater Latina – we give new life to the Nicolosi neighborhood, we work together with the Municipality. We are the operational subject. The contract signed in a short time fills us with pride – concludes the president – we are making an operational contribution to the redevelopment of the city and answers to the liveability and safety of the areas that we manage in whole or in part, a new work model.
