A fight that broke out in via Vergnano, in Brescia, around 5.50am on Saturday morning caused fear in an area near via Orzinuovi. As many as six people were injured, none in serious conditions but enough to mobilize several rescuers to hospitals. The deployment of vehicles by 118 was large: in fact, five ambulances and two medical vehicles intervened on site. The people involved, whose details the police know, are all of foreign origins. According to the initial information provided by the authorities, the protagonists were around ten young people between twenty and forty years old. The episode, still under investigation by state police investigators, would have seen at least six people injured, probably with shards of bottles and improvised weapons collected from the ground, such as stones and sticks.
The victims were transported to the Civil and Sant’Anna Clinic to receive the necessary medical treatment. The admissions to the emergency room took place under yellow and green codes, so no one had serious injuries. The other subjects involved, however, apparently left before the arrival of the police. Throughout the day on Saturday, interrogations were held at the police headquarters in via Botticelli aimed at identifying and clarifying the dynamics of the incident and above all at understanding who the people who escaped from via Vergnano are, where young people of various ethnic groups often meet. .
