Third signing ahead of next season for theSan Bernardo Cantù water who after Andrea De Nicolao and Joonas Riismaa, has hired Fabio Valentini. The signing of the contract of the 1999 class playmaker is official, annual with option for the 2025/26 season. “I am very happy to be in Cantù and to be able to play in front of a top-class crowd and for such an ambitious project. THE CARREER
Fabio is the son and grandson of art because both his father Andrea and his grandfather Claudio, who also spent time in Cantù during his career, were professional basketball players. Native of Casale Monferrato, he grew up in the Junior youth team. He made his debut in the first team at a very young age in the 2014-15 season. Starting from the 2016-17 season he began to be a permanent part of the A2 roster, earning more and more minutes from year to year until he averaged 10.7 points in the 2020-21 season. After another year in Casale, he moved to Forlì. In Romagna he had his best year in terms of scoring, with 11.8 points and 2.5 assists on average. He also remained with the red and whites in the season just ended, reaching double figures on average in the playoffs.
