The first foreign player in the history of Pallavolo La Bollente arrives from Slovakia.

After a long experience in Serie A in various European countries, the spiker Michal Petrasborn in 1996, is ready to wear the Negrini CTE jersey.

In Italy for three years, first in Casarano (A3) and subsequently in Pordenone (A2) in the last two seasons, he brings with him a career full of successes in various European countries, as he himself says: “I am 27 years old, this will be my 8th season abroad. I started playing volleyball at the age of 12 in the city where I live (Humenne). My professional career started in Austria where I played two seasons with AICH/DOB where I was named MVP of the championship, which I then won in the 2017/18 season. Then I moved to Germany to Friedrichshafen (GER) where I won the Cup, Supercup and came second in the championship. After that I went to Switzerland to Lindaren Volley Amriswill, where I won the Supercup again, and the title of MVP of the regular season, season that ended in the semifinals due to covid. The following year I returned to Slovakia to TJ Slavia Svidnik, a club from a small city where I achieved a great victory: meeting my current girlfriend and from the 2021/2022 season I play in Serie A in Italy. My first year was in A3 with Casarano where the team had the chance to maintain the category and we managed to get to the semi-final of the play offs. Then I moved to Prata di Pordenone in A2 series and it was a fantastic experience to reach fifth place for two consecutive years and access to the play offs. Each experience has left something special in my heart

Now it’s time to start a new experience for Michal who, despite various offers, was fascinated by the Acqui Terme project: “I have heard a lot of good things about Acqui Terme, I have had several offers from A2 (also to stay in Prata) but I decided to leave for a new adventure. I spoke with the coach and I really appreciated his attitude, the way he explained the project to me and how passionate he is about his job”

In conclusion, the new Acqui spiker sets the objectives: “My personal goal is always to be as useful and impactful as possible on and off the field, to bring to the younger players the experience that I have also had from different coaches, clubs and countries. As for the team’s objectives, however, talking about them now before the season is difficult because many teams are still completing the roster and I need to get to know my teammates first. I can guarantee that we will try to give our best in training and during matches to have fun with our fans, bring important results for this club and make this season memorable for the club.”
