Series of works starting in Arezzo, traffic changes. Here’s the detail.
Santa Maria delle Grazie
Work on the roundabout in Santa Maria delle Grazie begins next week and will last until the end of the year: the current traffic light is deactivated and some changes to traffic are introduced: vehicles traveling along via Leonardo da Vinci in the direction of viale Benedetto da Maiano will not be able to turn left or right onto viale Mecenate, those traveling in the opposite direction, from viale Benedetto da Maiano to via Leonardo da Vinci, will not be able to turn left onto viale Mecenate, those coming from the center along viale Mecenate will not be able to turn right onto via Leonardo da Vinci, those coming from via Andrea della Robbia/via Santa Maria delle Grazie will not be able to access viale Mecenate except for residents. In via Andrea della Robbia from number 38 to the intersection with via Santa Maria delle Grazie there is two-way traffic. Suitable on-site signage will facilitate the new journey.
Baldaccio area
Meanwhile, the doubling of the underpass and the arrangement of the road system in the Baldaccio area continue: from 6:00 pm on Sunday 30 June to 6:00 pm on Wednesday 10 July, the speed limit of 30 kilometres per hour is confirmed throughout the area affected by the works. Coming from Viale dei Carabinieri in the direction of the centre, you will begin to become familiar with the new roundabout, travelling along it for a good part of its circumference. Nothing changes for those who, in the opposite direction, are leaving the city.
Cesalpino School
Also pay attention to the ban on parking with removal until the end of the building replacement work on the building housing the Cesalpino school: this also applies to vehicles with special authorizations in derogation, from 8am to 6pm excluding holidays, along the even-numbered side of the street Porta Buia from number 6 for a length of 30 meters and in via Giuseppe Garibaldi, on both sides, from the intersection with via Porta Buia/via Isidoro del Lungo to number 157.
Cadorna area
The construction of the new headquarters of the Employment Center is also progressing in the former Cadorna area, which will entail a 24-hour parking ban with the forced removal of all vehicles in the stalls in Piazza Amintore until the end of May next year. Fanfani adjacent to the facade of what was the command building and in the stalls in Piazza del Popolo closest to the rear façade of the building. Both portions are delimited by appropriate signs.
