With great satisfaction, O.ME.PS Battipaglia announces that Giovanna Elena Smorto will be part of the white-orange roster also next season.
Born in Reggio Calabria on April 28, 1999, Giovanna is a guard of great value from a technical point of view, but also of notable personality: she has demonstrated this throughout her career (marked by important and prestigious experiences – see Venice, Lucca, Campobasso, Broni and Castelnuovo Scrivia) and confirmed it in the final part of last season.
Having arrived at PB63 in mid-March, in just two months she has carved out a leading role for herself, making a fundamental contribution to Battipaglia’s achievement of salvation: for her, 10 games (4 of which ended in double figures), 8 points on average and performances of great depth, especially in the decisive Play-Outs.
For this reason, therefore, there is great satisfaction at PB63 for her confirmation: Giovanna, with her numerous qualities, will certainly contribute to obtaining those prestigious results that the entire white-orange environment dreams of.
