Anzio – Aggravated theft in a commercial business: 28 year old arrested

The Carabinieri of the Nettuno station have arrested a 28-year-old Italian man under suspicion of the crime of aggravated theft. Last night, the Carabinieri patrol intervened in via Acciarella following a call to 112 NUE reporting a theft taking place in a commercial business.

The military, having arrived on site, noted that a French window of the aforementioned business had been broken into and subsequently started looking for those responsible. Based on the description provided by the person who had alerted the emergency number, after a few minutes, they blocked a motor vehicle whose driver matched the description in their possession.

In fact, following the personal and vehicular search, the military found and seized a jacket, which was found to have been stolen from inside the premises. The subsequent verification through the video surveillance images of the premises allowed the arrested person to be recognised, as the perpetrator of the crime.

For this reason, the man was held in the barracks for the subsequent very direct ritual, following which the Judge validated the arrest and ordered the obligation to sign in the barracks twice a day. It should be noted that the proceeding is in the preliminary investigation phase, so the suspects must be considered innocent until a possible final sentence. Thus in a statement the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri Rome. (Com/Red/Dire)
