Gigio’s promise is loud and clear, the 2026 American World Cup is closer than you think and we must not puncture it. Equally disappointed too Gianluigi Buffonhe who lifted the World Cup in Berlin, experiencing the opposite feeling to that of the Italians at the moment: “We weren’t able to take off as we expected and hoped. World Cup? It’s the minimum wage, that’s the goal. It is clear that steps forward must be taken, convincing steps, not in fits and starts. Does this national team lack talent? I do not believe”.
