Three opportunities to live a multi-sensory experience in the open air and immerse yourself in a world of colors and sounds. As part of the Festival of Calanchi and Argille Azzurre, scheduled until 4 July, the Giuseppe Sarti school of music and the Tommaso Minardi art school of Faenza will dedicate two activities to the little ones in the name of nature, rhythm and music.

The first event is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, at the Terra dei Calanchi farmhouse (formerly Oasi) in via Pideura 11 in Brisighella, at 7:00 p.m., where the little students of the Children’s Music Laboratory classes of the Sarti Music School and their parents will perform a musical moment, entitled With Mom and Dad, Songs, Dances and Rhythms that will involve both adults and children in a joyful experience of sharing. The performance is curated by the musicians and teachers of the music school Martina Drudi and Lorenza Garavini. The event is free to enter and no reservation is required.

The Save The Children association will also be present at the event on Saturday 29th, which from 5pm will offer the free Ritmo e Radici – From dance to Guerrilla Gardening workshop to girls and boys. Led by experts from the association, the children will move to the rhythm of music, create “seed bombs” and learn to take care of our planet. To participate in the activity, reservations are welcome by writing to [email protected].

The second appointment will take place on Wednesday 3 July at Podere La Berta, in via Berta 13, at 6 pm, where the Outdoor Drawing Workshop will return, for children and teenagers accompanied by an adult, with the artist and teacher of the Minardi school, Anna Lisa “Piki” Quarneti. Participation in the workshop costs ten euros per person and reservations are appreciated, by writing to [email protected]. At the end of the activity, for those who wish there will be the possibility to stop at the farm and admire the sunset, enjoying an aperitif or dinner.

The events are held in collaboration with the Vena del Gesso Romagnola National Park, the Union of Romagna Faentina, the Municipality of Faenza, the Municipality of Brisighella and the Carlo Zauli Museum.
