(AGR) The Carabinieri of the Nettuno station have arrested a 28-year-old Italian man seriously accused of the crime of aggravated theft.
Last night, the Carabinieri patrol intervened in via Acciarella following a call to 112 NUE reporting a theft in progress inside a commercial business. The military, having arrived on site, found a broken-in French window of the aforementioned business and subsequently, began looking for those responsible. Based on the description provided by the person who had alerted the emergency number, after a few minutes, they blocked a motorcycle whose driver corresponded to the description in their possession. In fact, following the personal and vehicle search, the military found and seized a jacket, which was found to have been stolen inside the premises.
The subsequent investigation using video surveillance images of the premises allowed the arrested individual to be identified as the perpetrator of the crime.
For this reason, the man was held in the barracks for the subsequent very direct ritual, following which the Judge validated the arrest and ordered the obligation to sign in the barracks twice a day.
It should be noted that the proceedings are in the preliminary investigation phase, so the suspects must be considered innocent until a final sentence is issued.
