In the early hours of the morning today the soldiers of the forestry carabinieri group of Reggio Calabria they executed five precautionary measuresof which one of House arrest e four of obligation to report to the judicial policeissued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Reggio Calabria court against an equal number of individuals of Italian and Romanian nationality.

The investigation is the result of a detailed and complex investigative activity launched by the forestry carabinieri unit of Reggio Calabria through which the existence of one was brought to light, exalting the criminally relevant conduct stable criminal association dedicated to illicit waste management.
Today’s result arose following a roadside inspection of a vehicle loaded with special waste and without the required environmental authorisations. Subjects, through transport, they delivered the waste to the illegally created landfill and then proceeded with its combustion, thus setting up an organized and efficient system of alarming severity, suitable for endangering the health of an indeterminate number of people, as well as creating serious damage and disfigurement to environmental matrices. The activity is in the preliminary investigation phase awaiting assessments from the judicial authorities.
