With the support of the De Mari CR Foundation of Savona, it debuts in Savona on Friday 28 June, Young people on stage!, the summer festival conceived and organized by the “Pasquale Anfossi” Cultural Association of Genoa.

Young people on stage! is a short review dedicated to the valorisation of the young musical talents of the area, all professionals under 35 but already with consolidated experience, who will perform in Savona, Quiliano and Villanova d’Albenga between 28 June and 26 July.

There will be three concerts, with programs ranging from classical to jazz.

The opening concert in Savona, on Friday 28 June at 9 pm, in the magnificent church of Sant’Andrea, in Piazza dei Consoli, will feature the Soloists of the Orchestra Paganini OPA, an orchestra founded in 2012 within the walls of the “N. Paganini” Conservatory in Genoa thanks to the teacher and violinist Vittorio Marchese.

The soloists are Filippo Taccogna violin, Filippo Bogdanovic violin and Teresa Valenza viola and they will perform an original and rare program with music by De Bériot, Halvorsen, Dvorak.

Following, on Saturday 6 July, at 9.15 pm, in Quiliano, in Piazza Gramsci, the jazz of EDERA TREES TRIO JAZZ.

An original project born from the encounter between Jazz, West African polyrhythms, impressionist music and improvisation: the name of the group reflects their musical project, inspired by the ivy that grows on the ancient walls of the forts around Genoa almost changes and transforms its appearance.

Matteo Gherardi Vignolo composition, drums, Maria Isolina Cozzani violin and baritone violin, Luca Ambrosi classical guitar. They will perform songs from their album IVY.

Final appointment on Friday 26 July, at 9.30pm in the historic center of Villanova d’Albenga, with the BPMS Trombone Quartet, a group of four young trombonists, students of the Niccolò Paganini Conservatory: Lorenzo Bonora, Lorenzo Martini, Davide Pedrazzi, Federico Curotto.

The very young musicians will perform a vast musical repertoire with their trombones, from the baroque music of Bach to the opera music of Mascagni and Verdi, to Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Kiss and many others, with points of true musical virtuosity.

Music by Verdi, Mozart, Haydn, Mangani, Sinatra, Kiss, Ryser, The Beatles, The Longest Johns, Maurer, Korsakov Nehl, Kilpatrick, Handy, Mascagni, Bach, Bruckner, Wagner.
