Mazara, Quinci completes the municipal council

The mayor of Mazara del Vallo, Salvatore Quinci completes the municipal council with the appointment of Giampaolo Caruso and Isidonia Giacalone.

After the appointment of the first five councilors, which took place last June 18, this morning Mayor Quinci appointed Giampaolo Caruso and Isidonia Giacalone.

Giampaolo Caruso was elected city councilor on the Brothers of Italy list. Isidonia Giacalone, however, was the first of the non-elected in the Political Observatory list.

Giampaolo Caruso was entrusted with the following responsibilities: Relations with the City Council – Environment – ​​Infrastructure – Civil Protection – Relations with Institutions.

The mayor has entrusted the following mandates to Isidonia Giacalone: ​​Welfare and Inclusion, Public Education – Urban Decor and Public Green.

The mayor also decided, in agreement with the previously appointed councilors, to entrust the delegation of Urban Planning (formerly the responsibility of Rino Giacalone) to councilor Vito Torrente.

The new councilors were sworn in this morning by the mayor himself and the Secretary General Salvatore Pignatello. With the oath, the councilors are officially placed in their functions.

Mayor Salvatore Quinci, who clearly chairs the Council, has retained for himself the delegations regarding: Taxes, Personnel, Community Policies, Fisheries, Environmental Sustainability and Renewable Energy.

Vice mayor is, however, councilor Vito Billardello.

This morning, Quinci then expressed his best wishes to the two new councilors and to the entire Mazara council team, now complete, expressing satisfaction with the start of the second administrative mandate.

Following the administrative elections of 8 and 9 June and after the installation of the re-elected mayor Quinci and the council, we now await the installation of the newly elected City Council which will hold its first meeting on 5 July at 10.30 am in Council Chamber.
