Art embraces prevention under the sign of a common sensitivity. On Tuesday 2 July, at 9 am, Komen Italia, an organization based on volunteering, on the front line in the fight against breast cancer, delivers the work of art “La Vie en Rose” Of Roxy in the Box at the Level I and II Breast Screening Center of the PT “SS. Annunziata”, in via Egiziaca a Forcella 18, Naples.
They will be present at the event together with the artist, Riccardo Imperiali di Francavilla president of Komen Campania, Ciro Verdoliva general director of ASL Napoli1, Maria Corvino corporate health director of ASL Napoli1, Beniamino Picciano director DS31, Marcella Montemarano diagnostic radiologist. Also attending will be the women in pink (women who have faced or are fighting against breast cancer) and the staff of the screening center where the artwork will be placed.
The delivery of “La Vie en Rose” follows the donation that took place during the second edition of Pink Tie Ball – the Charity Gala that Komen Italia organizes to raise awareness and raise funds for new projects in the fight against breast cancer.
Also thanks to the Prevention Caravans and its 7 high-tech Mobile Units, over the last 5 years Komen Italia has offered free home tests for the early diagnosis of breast cancer to over 250 thousand women.
