The Attorney General, Sergio Sottani, will go this afternoon, June 27, to the Terni prison in Vocabolo Sabbione to verify the safety conditions in which the magistrates operate during the hearings inside the prison. The visit falls within the responsibilities of supervision and control that fall to the Attorney General and follows the serious episode that occurred in recent days within the Terni institute which saw a judge, victim, during an interrogation, of an attempt to attack by an Italian citizen detained within the same prison. The immediate intervention of the Penitentiary Police staff averted the worst consequences that could have arisen from the violent attack carried out by the prisoner using the handle of a plastic fork, sharp and hidden between the fingers of his hand.

This same afternoon, the Attorney General will take part in the Provincial Committee for Order and Security organized at the Prefecture of Terni.
