Passage of the Tour de France to Alessandria: route and road provisions

On Monday 1st July the Tour de France caravan will pass through the province, which after passing through Tortona will reach Alessandria around 2pm.

Route and roads closed

The ride it is expected around 2pm on Monday. These are the closed roads from 11am until 15 minutes later which will be finished on transit:

  • San Giuliano Vecchio, via Piacenza, in the stretch between via Sale (SP 83) and SP 150,
  • SS10, under municipal jurisdiction,
  • via Marengo, up to via don Orione,
  • via San Giovanni Bosco, north-west semi-laneway, in the stretch between via Marengo and via Don Orione,
  • via Sardegna, between the Circolo Sardo and the roundabout with via San Giovanni Bosco, (vehicles exiting via Sardegna will pass in the opposite direction in the direction of the roundabout with via San Giovanni Bosco up to via de Negri)
  • via Don Orione, northern half-lane,
  • via San Giovanni Bosco, east half-lane, in the stretch between via DeNegri and via Sardegna,
  • Gamondio glacis, northern semi-roadway,
  • Corso Borsalino, northern half-lane,
  • viale Brigata Ravenna,
  • viale Tivoli, (with the exception of vehicles parked in the service road which will be directed to via Carlo Alberto),
  • Carlo Marx course,
  • via Bonardi, in the stretch between house number 8 and Corso Carlo Marx, both semi-lanes, Corso Acqui, in the stretch between Corso Carlo Marx and Cantalupo,
  • Acqui road.

No stopping

To allow the positioning of the “Flying finish line”it is expected no stopping with forced removal already from 3pm on June 30th until the end of the stroke exclusively in Gamondio Spalto, in the stretch between the front of house number 1/F and via Montebello.

The other stopping bans

On July 1st, from midnight until the end of the race, the no stopping with forced removal in these ways:

  • San Giuliano Vecchio, via Piacenza, in the stretch between via Sale (SP 83) and SP 150, both sides,
  • SS10, under municipal jurisdiction, both sides,
  • via Marengo, up to via don Orione, both sides,
  • via San Giovanni Bosco, north-west semi-laneway, in the stretch between via Marengo and via Don Orione, both sides,
  • via Sardegna, between the Circolo Sardo and the roundabout with via San Giovanni Bosco on both sides,
  • via Don Orione, northern semi-lane, both sides,
  • via San Giovanni Bosco, east half-lane, in the stretch between via de Negri and via Sardegna, both sides,
  • Gamondio glacis, northern half-lane, both sides,
  • Corso Borsalino, northern half-lane, both sides,
  • viale Brigate Ravenna,
  • viale Tivoli, both sides (with the exception of the service road),
  • Corso Carlo Marx, both sides,
  • via Bonardi, in the stretch between house number 8 and Corso Carlo Marx, both sides and the semi-carriageways,
  • Corso Acqui, in the stretch between Corso Carlo Marx and Cantalupo, on both sides,
  • Acqui road, both sides.
