BARI (ITALPRESS) – Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, promoter of the #pizzaUnesco recognition, was in Bari to support the mayoral candidate Vito Leccese with the new initiative and the “Make Pizza Not War” t-shirts launched by the Ecodigital network together with the famous Neapolitan creative company Napolimania. The pacifist t-shirts worn by artists, political and cultural personalities and obviously by pizza chefs want to unite pizza, the most well-known and consumed dish in the world, and peace which must be the main aspiration of humanity. The appointment is Thursday 13 June at 12pm for an aperipizza in the famous Antica pizzeria Da Michele, partner of the victorious #pizzaUnesco campaign launched by Pecoraro Scanio and the Univerde foundation together with historical associations and companies in the world of pizza. Then Pecoraro Scanio with Decaro and Leccese went to the “Pazzaria”, a typical pizzeria in Bari and here too the pizza chefs wore the pacifist t-shirt which also unites the different artisanal traditions. “making pizza and not war is a pacifist appeal that we wanted to relaunch with Antonio Decaro precisely in supporting the candidacy of Vito Leccese as mayor of Bari.
