The investigation began following the death of a 51-year-old resident of Vigevano who suddenly fell ill in a sports facility. The searches carried out yesterday allowed the Carabinieri to seize 3600 tablets, 84 vials of doping substances, 4 drugs with narcotic effects and 780 euros in cash. The investigations carried out in the Pavia area were also linked to trafficking in doping substances in various provinces, particularly in Milanese and Trento. Seven further subjects were arrested and the searches allowed the activity to be stopped finding 2,000 packs of anabolics for a value of 100,000 euros.
