THE 3rd CIMR TEST GOES TO LEONARDO TONELLI WITH GASGAS

As many as 310 riders took up the challenge proposed by the Foligno motorcycle club who, for the 3rd round of the Italian Championship dedicated to the Roadbook “Motorally Città di Foligno”, drew up a total route of 210 kilometers interspersed with 2 selective sectors of 25 and 24 kilometers.

Climbing the top step of the podium in the Assoluta class was Leonardo Tonelli riding GASGAS who left the lower steps to Tommaso Montanari, Fantic rider, and Alessandro Botturi riding a Yamaha Tenere 700 respectively.

It was 8:00 sharp when the over 300 pilots began to parade from the start in the presence of the FMI President Giovanni Copioli, who for the occasion rode in the Azzurra jersey, a source of maximum pride for the Federation and for the Country.

The first selective sector of 25 kilometers proved Tommaso Montanari right, riding Fantic, who imposed his pace on an extraordinary Alessandro Botturi CF Racing and Leonardo Tonelli GASGAS while the 4th and 5th positions were owned by Andrea Gava and Paolo Degiacomi. The top ten was completed by Andrea Rocchi Team Solarys, Jacopo Cerutti with Aprilia, Antoine Meo riding Ducati, Matteo Manenti with bimota and Pietro Degiacomi Africa dream Racing

After the assistance that took place in the paddock, the riders flew towards the 2nd road race of 24 kilometers won by Leonardo Tonelli, more skilled and faster in navigation than Tommaso Montanari and Thomas Marini.

At the end of a hot day, where the sun accompanied the entire motorally entourage, as usual the spotlight was turned on on the awards ceremony which, in addition to appreciating the Assoluta class with Leonardo Tonelli, Tommaso Montanari and Alessandro Botturi, CF Racing crowned for the class A Federico Salucci and Fabio Pozzobon both riding Aprilia 125 4T.

The best free hitter of the 125 2-stroke class was Francesco Pauselli followed by Maicol Alt and Andrea Sassoli while the 3 main actresses for the AF Class were in order of arrival: Jasmin Riccius Solarys, Simona Brenz Verca and Raffaella Cabini RS Moto. Honors and merits go to all the pilots, 11 on this occasion, where there was also Lady Beta: Tiziana Ornaghi, for the project desired and created by the union of intent of FMI and Betamotor.

The B 250 category enjoyed Pietro Degiacomi Africa Dream Racing on the top step of the podium while the 2nd best player was Carlo Cabini followed by Noa Sainct; Paolo Degiacomi was the best performer of the 2 lines for the 300 category followed by Mattia Colmagro and Marco Falappi.

In the D-450 class the honors and merits were all for Leonardo Tonelli who gave a hard time to his 2 best opponents of the day Tommaso Montanari and Thomas Marini while the E 600 class was conquered by Andrea Rocchi followed by Andrea Gava and Matteo Luison who went to complete the podium. Growing further in displacement, for the G-1000 class, the one who dominated was Alessandro Botturi CF Racing followed by Jacopo Cerutti Aprilia Tuareg 660 and Matteo Drusiani with Yamaha Tenere 700.

The newly created FX Rally class applauded Andrea Mancini Beta Dirt Racing, best player, while second place went to Giovanni Gritti RS Moto followed by Claudio Spanu Guareschi Corse. Many riders were present in the Sport class which at the end of the day winked at Nicola Coltri followed by Massimo Marchi and Gianni Coppola. The Veteran class Badiali memory went to Enzo Mattiuda, the Ultraveteran trophy consecrated Mauro Uslenghi with gold, for the under 23 the honors went to Paolo Degiacomi.

In the Beta trophy Mattia Colmagro graduated with gold while in the GPX championship Nicolò Pietribiasi won with Yamaha Tenere 700.
