What does this success mean to you?
“Experiencing all this with the national team is something fantastic. We played dominant football in this group stage and then we tackled the individual tasks one by one, with great seriousness and this is what I love about football. It is a great satisfaction that I want to enjoy it and it’s not possible to repay football for these emotions it gives us, even the way we won is really satisfying. Now let’s close this chapter and prepare for the next one.”

“We have excellent players in all roles. Today without Widmer I put Ndoye in that position and with his speed he bothered the opponents, they had to cover him with two players”.
What will you come up with for the next match?
We prepared the match against Italy in a week, tomorrow we will be able to watch the match live and then we will come up with something on a strategic level after seeing it. But it is important for us to focus on ourselves.
Did you expect Italy to be so poor?
“What does poor mean? We’ve seen it in the last few games and it has used various modules, players in various positions, and we were good at finding the right mechanisms, the right running-in in the first three games and even today we managed to dominate the game in terms of pace. Italy changed six players and this helped us, in all phases everything works because even when we don’t have possession we run as much as we need to. Tonight everything worked.”
