PESCARA. Today a new protest by the white and blue fans against the president Daniele Sebastiani. In Piazza Salotto the meeting took place in the early afternoon. From there the procession started with scarves and flags to go under the Palazzo di Città. A symbolic gesture to make it clear that Pescara Calcio belongs to the people and the city of Pescara.
This is what was reported in the fans’ statement: “The moment we have all been waiting for has arrived, the day has arrived when we take to the streets for the Biancazzurro Pride. We meet and march together for the good of the Pescara Calcio and for this reason it is a duty for everyone: ultras and non-ultra fans, families, elderly people and children. The appointment is for today, Saturday 29 June, at 2 pm in Piazza Salotto with scarves, flags and blue and white shirts; at 3 pm with destination Piazza Italia where we would like, and we are sure that it will be like this, to find all those who in various capacities hold or have tried to hold public positions in the name of our City, elected and non-elected politicians, people who until a few days ago ago they did not spare phone calls to the citizens proclaiming themselves 100% Pescara, and who will certainly follow up their words with deeds by joining the city. On Saturday it is our turn, we must make our voice heard by everyone and show our colours… On Saturday we must make it clear that Pescara belongs to the people of Pescara!!! The people, the city, the fans… All united to send him away!!! Pescara is us.”

Pescara fans march against the president
Pescara Calcio fans in a procession under the sun, from Piazza della Rinascita to the town hall, to protest against the Sebastiani presidency. It is the third demonstration in just over a month by the Biancazzurri supporters who have been contesting the ownership for some time now.
